Truthful words stand the test of time, but lies are soon exposed. PROVERBS 12:19
Lies are usually exposed because even the dishonest don’t like to be deceived. Dishonesty can ruin your reputation. It can make you untrustworthy and cause you to lose your friends, your spouse, your home, or your job. It can even land you in jail. Ultimately, a lifestyle of dishonesty pits you against the God of truth, who doesn’t allow dishonest people into his eternal Kingdom. That is why practicing honesty is so important. .
